Summer Dental Health & Safety

Multi-ethnic group of children having fun in swimming pool. Ages 9 to 13.| Omaha Dentistry Dental Safety for summer

We hope you’re enjoying outdoor activities including summer sports, camping, fishing, boating, hiking, and summer vacations.

Remind your children about practicing good dental hygiene with daily brushing and flossing.  Restock your first aid kit.  Protect your kids from the summer sun by applying sunscreen often. To protect them from heat exhaustion, children should play in the shade as much as possible.  Keep children away from hot appliances such as a grill or stove to prevent against a burn. When riding a bike, children should wear a helmet.

It is also a great time to schedule that checkup and cleaning.  Call our office today at (402) 339-3366 for an appointment.

Have a healthy and safe summer!
