Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some of the most common questions we receive from our patients:
The American Dental Association recommends that everyone see a dentist twice a year or every six months. Prevention is key and having a regular rapport with your dentist will ensure that your oral health needs are met and that any dental problems are identified early enough to provide effective treatment. Regular visits also mean you’ll receive scheduled cleanings, exams, and the opportunity to ask questions about your oral hygiene.
The quick answer is yes, they are! X-rays are crucial in identifying decay and other dental abnormalities that are not easily seen by the naked eye. X-rays also enable us to detect structural issues with your teeth and determine if some orthodontic treatments are necessary. Not everyone will need an X-ray and their frequency will depend on your specific dental condition.
Dr. T.J is proud to be intimately involved in many charities and organizations that benefit the community. Among the community services initiatives we have taken on are the Ronald McDonald House, which supports families who have children in the hospital, and the Open-Door mission Project Santa which is dedicated to reaching out and bringing the Christmas spirit to over 6,000 children in the Omaha area.
The two best aspects of what we do is interacting with our wonderful staff and getting to know all of our patients. Dr. T.J has cared for patients through the years and has seen them grown from childhood into adulthood while playing an important role in maintaining their oral health. This impact in people’s lives is a reward in of itself and it only grows when those patients he saw as children bring children of their own into the office.
